Bring the page you can see into PikSpec.
The extension inspects signed-in and personalized pages locally, then sends only the evidence you approve to your workspace.
Before your first capture
- Use a normal website tabChrome internal pages and the Web Store cannot be inspected.
- Open the exact state you needSign in, dismiss overlays, and navigate to the page before capture.
- Review before sendingThe local preview labels observations, inferences, and excluded data.

Open the page you need
Sign in there first if the design is personalized. PikSpec reads only the active tab after you click it.

Inspect locally
Review styles, assets, component boundaries, and visible states before anything leaves your browser.
- 03Your approval
Approve the handoff
Choose Build a Design Pack. Credentials, form values, cookies, and unrelated tabs are excluded.
- 04Workspace
Continue in PikSpec
The extension opens a durable workspace with specs, prompts, code, evidence, fidelity, and exports.
Manual installation
Use the verified extension build
During development, load the unpacked build from apps/extension/dist-user. Production users should install the signed Chrome Web Store release.
- Open
chrome://extensions. - Enable Developer mode.
- Choose Load unpacked and select
dist-user. - Pin PikSpec, then return here and check installation.
